Why the Stockholm Archipelago
The Stockholm Archipelago is one of the largest archipelagos in the world: over 24,000 islands, just an hour from central Stockholm. National Geographic named it one of 25 “Best of the World” destinations for 2025. In 2025, the brand-new Nämdöskärgården National Park was inaugurated in the outer archipelago, right in our operating area.
There are no tides, no ocean currents, and rarely strong winds. The waters are calm, sheltered, and ideal for groups of all experience levels. Your team does not need any previous kayaking experience. We teach everyone everything they need to know.
It is wild, beautiful, and surprisingly accessible. Your group can be on the water within an hour of leaving Stockholm.

Practical information for corporate groups
All our corporate kayak programmes are guided. Your group will be accompanied by one or more certified kayak and wilderness guides throughout the trip. Our guides handle safety, navigation, cooking, and logistics so your group can focus entirely on the experience.
No previous kayaking experience is required. Every programme begins with a thorough introduction covering kayak technique, safety, and everything your group needs to know. The Stockholm Archipelago has no tides, no ocean currents, and no large swells, making it safe and accessible for groups of all fitness levels.
Group sizes range from 4 to 50 people. For larger groups, we split into smaller paddling teams, each with their own guide, and coordinate the full programme across the group. We are experienced in running events for groups of all sizes and can scale the logistics accordingly.
We operate from our kayak centre at Stavsnäs Vinterhamn, about an hour from central Stockholm. Transfers from the city are included. The season runs from May to September.
