About The Kayak Trail
The Kayak Trail is a full-service kayak tour operator based at Stavsnäs Vinterhamn in the Stockholm Archipelago. We are co-founded by Jakob and Adam, who grew up exploring these waters as scouts and later started the company while studying at the Stockholm School of Economics. Since 2019, we have been working full-time with a team of certified kayak and wilderness guides, welcoming guests from all over the world.
We are the exclusive authorised tour operator for the Stockholm Kayak Trail, a quality-assured kayak route network in the archipelago. Our kayak centre at Stavsnäs is the closest access point by road to the outer Stockholm Archipelago, including the brand-new Nämdöskärgården National Park.
We also operate Get Out Kayak, our kayak rental and day trip brand, from two bases in the archipelago. Get Out Kayak is a TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice award winner, recognised in the top 10% of attractions worldwide.
